Prior to D-Day stripes

Prior to D-Day stripes the tail band was masked and painted RAF sky from AK interactive.

Leading edges were masked and painted yellow.

D-Day Stripes

After figuring out size and spacing its time to paint the D-Day stripes!

After a coat of white the stripes were measured and masked ready for black.

The rest of the body was masked to prevent over-spray.

Again cling film was used to mask larger areas.
