Tamiya 1/35th Panzer IV and Panzer Grenadiers

After bit of a break I decided to rekindle some skills using Tamiya's Panzer IV and their Panzer Grenadiers. Both out of the box.

I always loved these figures as a kid and I have made them many times over the years.

Rifle slings were made simply made from masking tape.

Figures were primed in the zenithal highlighting approach.

The tank was painted using the black and white technique. Much of the effect was lost and I think I should have stopped with the first ultra-thin coat of panzer grey!

Mounted onto polystyrene foam in a simple scene and fitted into a pre-made small photo frame.

I managed to snap of the aerial as I took the photos - Doh!!

I took these straight after I matt varnished so it was still wet in these shots!!
